This website has been conceived by a group of young people in love with tourism who decided to transform the passion for tourism into something tangible.
The work on this website started long time ago, more exactly in August 2007. All this time we have centralised data and information about the cities and the tourist areas of our country, Romania. Thus, on our website, besides information regarding the accommodation opportunities, you will find other information also such as the main tourist attractions, the recreational activities and some pictures of the area that you would like to visit.
Fore more information we collected data about approximately 1300 locations from Romania. Obviously, in the future we are going to improve this database, in this way we would like to ask you to help us.
Since we have decided to promote our website in other countries also, we translated it into six languages that we considered to be the most spoken ones in Europe and not only. Thus, the information about the tourist areas and the tourist locations as well as the information regarding the accommodation units will be listed in all six languages.
We can tell you more about this website but we would rather invite you to navigate on it and we also ask you to send us all the observations or additional information that you consider necessary. Moreover, in case you are the owner of an accommodation or recreational unit, or of a restaurant or pub, we would like you to register on our website so you can become, in this way, part of our big “RoTouring” family.
